Today Lila is 16 weeks old. So much has happened in the past seven days, Lila sees something, wants it, and grabs it! She pulls her toy bird to make it sing. She grabs her maraca and shakes it. She discovered her feet and then made the discovery that she can reach them. Mostly she uses her left hand to hold her left foot or sometimes both feet.
Lila also likes to play with daddy's and mommy's hands... and stick them in her mouth of course. Then on Tuesday evening (the 12th) Lila rolled over! From her tummy to back... three times. Maybe it was more exciting for us because she hasn't rolled over again. Lila chews while watching mommy and daddy eat. She also has really noticed water. She watches mommy drink water and wants to touch the bottle. The condensation is fascinating. And Lila is giving daddy and mommy "tight squeezes". A line in a poem where Lila has started hugging us back.
