Yesterday Lila and I flew to Denver to visit Avery and Jeff. A few nice people shifted on the plane to give us an empty seat for Lila. She sat in my lap mostly but we really needed the extra room. For the most part she enjoyed the flight. We went to Averys house and Lila had a blast reuniting with Zoe! Nap time and then we went to a park just a very short walk away and then to a fun place called Jumpstreet. A place with lots of trampolines and some inflatable playgrounds. Lila had way to much fun, she slide down a giant slide over and over and jumped and jumped and played and played. We made a pit stop at whole foods on the way home. Today we decided to check out the Denver Zoo. It was really nice . You really got to get close to the animals and we saw almost everything. Lila enjoyed the penguins the most, we got lucky and got to see the feeding. Lila peered over the low wall and watched for a long time. We saw elephants and lots of monkeys, bears, birds, and a couple of gorillas. As well as a tiny baby orangutan.
When we got home Lila crashed and so did mommy. We slept for almost three hours. Then off to check out another park around the block. Jeff had just as much fun as Lila (I won't post the picture to prove it though. We got back and Lila tool Zoe on a walk. Then Avery served up one of Lila's favorite for dinner. Can you tell what is was from the pictures? As you can see we needed bath. Lila requested Avery read her book before bed. We had a great day with crazy aunt Avery and crazy Jeff too! Colorado is beautiful and we love spending time with Avery!
