v.18

 Today Lila is 18 weeks old.  The week started rough with an allergic reaction to her vaccines.  A rash and a very unhappy girl.  Luckily by Tuesday she was feeling better and took her 5th and 6th plane ride ( SBA to DEN then DEN to AUS) She did amazing.  Took two cat naps on each flight, snacked some, played with Sophie the giraffe  and of course smiled and batted her lashes at everyone sitting around her.  

She studies people a lot and has taken a particular interest in uncle Addison and uncle Andrew.  She watches their every move.  She wants them to give her all their attention. Pappy and GiGi can make Lila smile and giggle with just one word or a tickle. The week has been full of love and giggles. 
Thursday morning Lila rolled from her back to tummy.  She had been trying but an arm and shoulder seemed to always be in the way.   Mommy caught the third roll on her iPhone to send to daddy. 
Another first was swimming in a big pool.  Lila loves the water and just discovered what splashing during  a bath last week.  She has a little froggy pool too.  She is going to take it back to Santa Barbara to play in on warmer days.    Today, mommy and Lila skyped with daddy for a few minutes and she showed him her rolling skills live.  Front to back to front to back to front.   Oh the places she will go...
