Lila is 22 weeks old today.  Yesterday she was 5 months old.  She has changed so much in the past 5 months and how quickly they have seemed to go by.  Her bottom left tooth has broken through (as of thursday morning) and the right one wants to soon.   Lila uses the potty and often tells mommy and daddy when she needs to use it by signing.  She is moving and turning and wanting to crawl so badly.  She can make a lot of distance just on her tummy, wiggling around and pushing off her feet and hands.  She prefers cretin toys and loves songs and making music.   We get to hear Lila's sweet little voice and have even heard a few words. She has this very quiet talk (more breathe) it is so cute.  She moves her mouth while she is studying someone talking.  Lila also got a little taste of a watermelon at Mamatotos.  She loved it!  Lila loves being close to daddy and mommy but now she can reach for them and give hugs and "kisses".  She likes to explore faces with her hands (and feet).   It is still very hard for Lila to nap.  She needs quiet and lots of help from mommy or daddy.  But naps mean lots of smiles and a happy Lila. 

This week was so fun and busy.  Avery came for a visit.  Lila really loves Avery.  She was looking all over for her when she left.  Avery sings fun songs and tells funny stories.  We got to be outside a lot and Lila got her first tan!  We went to lots of parks and even the zoo.  We fed the giraffes and Lila got an up close look at such beautiful animals.  If only Lila could tell us what she was thinking about the giraffe and their long crazy tongues.
