Today Lila is 49 weeks old. It is March, Lila's birthday month!! It's hard to remember jut a short year ago at this time we were at the "she could be here any day" stage... The next 23 days I tried to patiently wait and enjoy Lila tumbling around in my big belly...
This week Lila added a few new words... "hot" and "this" "that" "sock" "wa wa" ( she signs water too) We go to the playground almost everyday and Lila has found her first friend. His name is Hudson and he is 15 months old. They talk to each other and play in the rocks. Soon Lila will be able to run long side him... She wants to run. If Lila needs to get somewhere faster then her feet allow she gets a hand to help take her there.
Lila loves people and animals. She wants to wave to almost everyone. I love her laugh and smile when she sees something to get excited about...
Show Lila something a couple of times and she can do it too. Her newest thing is shrugging her shoulder and flipping her hands up. She does this with a quizzical look too. Mostly when she drops something (on purpose). "oh" where did it go?
