Today Lila is 41 weeks old. Yesterday she said her 10th word. Mamama
In the morning she was whispering mamama but when I would say "mana" she would repeat back "baba". Before her bath in the evening she crawled over and put her hands on my legs. "mama". Her 10th word is the sweetest word I have ever heard.
This week has been all about exploring our neighborhood, which includes the playground (little Stacy park). Lila crawls up the stairs and slides down the slide. She crawls over the bridge and beats the drums. She loves the squirrels and dogs on their walks. Today she saw the park in another whole new way. Pea gravel. She usually tries to put the rocks straight into her mouth but today she didn't. She crawled all over the play ground. She explored different areas... Played tic tax toe then crawled to the next area. She was a part of all the action today.
Also this weekend Lilas friend Elan and his daddy and mommy came to play all weekend. Elan is 8 months older then Lila and running and walking but they still got to have lots of fun together.. Lila has been missing all her baby friends, so it was nice getting to play with someone (almost) her own size. Lila noticed the moon in the sky this week. It has been up during the day, she noticed it on a wagon ride home from the park. She is always looking up trying to spot "cas" and "sqirrs"
