v.42

Today Lila is 42 weeks old. Lila is busier then ever this week. He has taken a few one or two steps by herself and is testing her self everyday. She loves to climb. She has excellent balance and can pretty much stand however long she wants. Her new words this week are ack (oink) and "hoo ooo" (choo choo). She
also started saying tada along with her "tada" move (see previous post). She will try to repeat anything back.
Lila is discovering and rediscovering things everyday. She is really developing her fine motor skills with her hands. She has been watching them every closing and enjoying the she can control them now, better then ever. This week she has been rubbing them together a lot and clasping them weaving her fingers together.
When Lila is ready to be picked up she raised both hands so high and sometimes even stands on her tippy toes.
Aunt Avery came and spent a few days with us and it was so fun. Lila took three steps while mommy and daddy were out on their first date in a long while. They went ice skating maybe Lila thought if she walked she would get to go next time. Later that evening Lila took some more steps playing in between daddy, mommy, and Avery. A few time she took very deliberate steps. She was very proud of herself and smiling every time she did it!
